The basic philosophy of providing educational opportunities for our gifted and talented and high-achieving learners is the same as for all pupils; each should be educated to the fullest extent of his/her capacity.  Embedded in each classroom, differentiated instruction is designed by the classroom teacher using district core curriculum resources.  Teachers are able to discuss student learning during parent conferencing.  

In addition to the day to day learning in the classroom, the district will hold enrichment activities throughout the year.  These activities will be announced, and are open to all students.

Each spring, students in grades 3 and higher are eligible to participate in the GATE assessment.  This includes the administration of a normal-referenced assessment and input from the current classroom teacher.
