• Wiley Canyon PrincipalMarguerite Armstrong - Principal at Wiley Canyon Elementary School

    Ms. Armstrong has worked for the Newhall School District since 2001.  She is excited to serve the school community of Wiley Canyon Elementary.  Before working as a site administrator, Ms. Armstrong enjoyed her role as a classroom teacher for grades first through fifth and as the Induction Coordinator for the Santa Clarita Valley Consortium.

    Ms. Armstrong has a passion for creating authentic relationships with students, staff, and family members of the  school community.  Her favorite place continues to be in the classroom supporting teachers and students in creating a “growth mindset” toward lifelong learning.  

    When not at school, Ms. Armstrong enjoys quality time with family and friends.  She loves the outdoors, traveling, meeting new people, enjoying live music, and laughing!

    Mrs. Camara is excited to be a member of the Wiley Canyon Wolf Pack this school year.  Mrs. Camara has worked for the Newhall School District since 2022, most recently as the Assistant Principal for Stevenson Ranch and Meadows Elementary schools.  She began her career in education in 2002, working as a classroom teacher for 15 years, and beginning her career in administration in 2019.  


    Mrs. Camara believes that schools should be a safe place where children, staff, parents, and community members feel welcomed and honored as vital contributors to the success of all of our children.  
     
    While not at school, Mrs. Camara enjoys spending time with her husband and two daughters.  She loves traveling, going to the beach, and cheering on her favorite sports teams.
