School Attendance Review Board (SARB)

  • The School Attendance Review Board (SARB) is comprised of school and community members who meet regularly to provide intensive guidance and coordinate service delivery to students.  The goal of the SARB is to find solutions to unresolved student attendance and discipline problems. SARB seeks to understand why students are experiencing attendance and behavior problems, and serves as a vehicle to correct. If SARB is unable to resolve the attendance or behavior problem, the SARB may refer the case to the District Attorney for mediation and possible court filing.
