Mrs. Maxwell – Principal
Mrs. Maxwell enters her first year principal at Oak Hills Elementary School after serving as interim principal last Spring. She started her career in LAUSD as a kindergarten teacher in the fall of 1996. She spent 19 years in the Sulphur Springs Union School District where she was a teacher of 3rd, 4th, and 6th grades. As an administrator in Sulphur Springs, she served as an assistant principal, program administrator for the (ASES) afterschool program, and in a Categorical/Curriculum director position at the district office.
She then made a move to the Newhall School District where she served as an assistant principal for a year and a half. She played volleyball collegiately at California State University, Los Angeles and also coached volleyball for over 20 years at the junior club and college level. She received her Masters in education and teaching credential from Pepperdine University and administrative credential from the University of La Verne.
She loves spending time with her family, especially watching her son and daughter compete in various sports on the weekends. She loves camping at the beach, playing volleyball, and supporting her favorite basketball team the San Antonio Spurs.
Mrs. Seeley - Assistant Principal
Embarking upon her tenth year as a member of the Newhall School District, and fifth year as an Assistant Principal, Mrs. Seeley brings over 10 years of prior experience as a School Psychologist and Teacher. Mrs. Seeley is passionate and committed to discovering our students’ strengths leading to academic, social-emotional and behavioral growth. During her leisure time, Mrs. Seeley enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, swimming and attending Dodger games.
